Jeremiah & God's Ceaseless Mercy
For the first time in many years, James had the opportunity to preach on something other than missions while back home in Seattle. Here is the message that he shared on Jeremiah & God's Ceaseless Mercy. To download the mp3 version just right click here and choose "save link as."

Local Pastors Share The Need
We recently saw our last group of Bible school graduates finish up their ministry time as many of them have spent the last 2 months working in a nearby township training pastors and leaders. It was so exciting to hear all the stories of what God did in and through them during that time. But what was even cooler, was to hear directly from the pastors themselves. Here is a short video that was put together by the leaders of the outreach showing the response of some of the pastors to receiving the training of our graduates. Please take a look and be blessed! If you can't see the video click here to watch it.

The Transforming Power of the Word
We are half way through the Bible School here in Muizenberg and have been blown away by how God is moving in the lives of the students! One story is that of Jeremiah (pictured above). After studying the entire book of Genesis using the inductive method, Jeremiah gave an overall application that stood out to him. "God created both man & women in His image… I grew up in a culture where women are taught to be lower than their husband. They can't do anything except giving birth to many children and do house works. They are being beaten, sexually abused because they can't stand for themselves and talk. This truth of equality and partnership of man and woman is not being applied..." Click on the picture to read more.
We just had the privilidge of taking more than 40 orphans to the beach, many of them seeing the ocean for the first time. Even though they only live less than 30 minutes away, a day outside of the township is very rare. We had a blast playing with them in the water, building sand castles, having bologna sandwiches, and huddling with them to keep warm. Introducing YWAM Muizenberg
It may look plain on the outside, but inside this former hotel is bursting at the seems with life! With about 75 staff and a constant flow of students, YWAM Muizenberg is making a great impact in the surrounding community and the nations. Here's just a glimpse of what's happening here: Training: • Schools run year-round training students in foundational discipleship, the Bible, planting churches, worship & intercession, leadership, & evangelism. Local Ministry: • YWAM Muizenberg is working all throughout the area with orphanages, HIV prevention & care, evangelism, sports ministries, street kids, and ministry in the townships. Beyond South Africa: • Missionaries trained here in Muizenberg are working all throughout the continent and into the rest of the world with both short and long-term teams.
Even though most of our work focuses on the Bible school, it is an honor to be part of such a diverse & far-reaching ministry.

We're Married! Check out our video & photos
The wedding has come and gone and we are so excited to be Mr. and Mrs. Lunn!! It was the perfect day, beautiful, intimate and so special, we couldn't have asked for more! And we were blessed to have so many family and friends share in our celebration. The honeymoon was equally amazing and we came back so refreshed. We also had a wonderful reception in Seattle and were delighted to see almost 100 of James' friends turn up to celebrate our marriage and send us off. Click on the picture above to see more of our wedding photos and check out our short wedding video below. Thank you to all who made our celebrations so special!
The move to South Africa is just a couple days away! We fly out June 3rd. We've found our apartment - it's close to the YWAM facility, in the same complex as other friends and just perfect for us. We're looking forward to making South Africa our home, settling in and starting life together there.
