April 16, 2006 Heading to Cambodia
Hello Friends,

First, please take a minute to check out my website if you haven't done so recently. I have just finishing updating it and put up some more pictures and articles. It took me a very long time to get it up and running and I would love for others to enjoy it as well. The web address is www.ToMakeHimKnown.com. The name comes from the motto, "To know God and TO MAKE HIM KNOWN."

Wow, how could the month have gone by so fast. It seems I just sent out the last letter leaving the airport coming here, and now I am about to get on a plane for Cambodia in a few hours.
The past three weeks have been a wonderful time of teaching here at the school and preparing for Cambodia. It has been a stretching time, but very good. I have been privileged to work along side a very gifted teacher here who has pushed me beyond my comfort zones in teaching and helped me to be a more effective teacher. I came here to teach, but have been a student most of the time. It has been great. But the best part of all was spending a month back in the culture I love so much, China! It was so great to speak Mandarin again; I can't believe how quickly it came back. I spent a lot of time just chatting with street merchants and people on the streets soaking up the sights and sounds of Chinese culture all over again.

I have loved the last month, but am even more excited about what's next. In just a few hours we will be heading out to Cambodia. We are a small team this time of just two, a guy from Montana named Mitch and myself, but that means we will be challenged by more opportunities to teach and be more flexible to go wherever there is need. We start off within a couple days of arriving working with about sixteen church leaders in Phnom Penh for the first ten days. We will then be traveling up near the Thailand border for another pastoral seminar there. The rest of the ministry time is still being confirmed at this point, but I trust that God will send us where He wants us to go.

I was scheduled to return to the states on June 18th, but I felt led to extend my stay in Cambodia for an extra month after the school ends to continue teaching. I have no idea what I will be doing or where I will be going, but I am praying that the Lord will open the doors and show me where the needs are. I will then be back in the states for about a month before heading to Montana to staff the next Titus Project there in the fall, with the possibility of going back to Africa and building upon the work we did there last year.

Well that is a quick update of what is going on and I would greatly appreciate your prayers as we head out and minister by God's grace.

Please pray for the following:
• First, please take some time and ask the Lord how you should pray and pray accordingly
• We are crying out for God's anointing as we minister and teach. Please pray that God moves powerfully during times of ministry and that lives are transformed.
• Please pray for continued good health and safety as we travel throughout Cambodia
• Please pray for final arrangements of the ministry in Cambodia. There are many hurdles in making contacts and setting up seminars out in remote villages
• Please also pray for guidance and doors to open for the extra month I will be spending there.
• Please pray for the pastors and leaders who will be attending our seminars. That their hearts would be open and that they would be hungry to learn and be changed.
• Please pray for our team; that we walk in humility, unity, and God's strength, not our own
• Click here to download a summary from "Operation World" about Cambodia and how to pray for the people
• Please continue to pray for my financial situation, that the Lord would raise up monthly financial partners. Again, by extending my stay I will not have the money to continue on in the fall without increased support.
Thank you again for all your support. If you receive anything specific while praying please don't hesitate to via email. I am always greatly encouraged to hear from those who are praying. \n This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
