Hello Again,

It's been another two weeks and another AMAZING seminar with the leaders and pastors in the village. This time I am trying something new. Click on the link below to go to my website and LISTEN to the newsletter. http://ToMakeHimKnown.com/news1 Just wait a minute for it to finish loading and click on the play button to listen or simply click on the link below the play button to download the mp3 file directly to your computer for a higher quality playback. While there also check out the new photos I put up in the photo gallery, there are about forty new ones from Cambodia.

But here is a quick summary. We have spent the last two weeks out in a village near the border with Thailand working with many of the pastors and leaders in that area. We again taught through Philemon and Titus and it was awesome to see how God used the same books to impact different groups in such different ways. Application of Titus was great. Leaders were writing down their sins, some filling up both sides of a sheet of paper, before we burned them outside and had a time of worship. They then made verbal and written commitments to serve God as an example of Christ in every area of their lives. They then made commitments to start Bible studies there. The main pastor is totally on board and is going to ensure that it happens.

It was just so cool to see these people who have little to no education and training understand the Bible for the first time in their lives and get excited about studying it. They all said that they never understood it before and don't read it much, but now they are hungry and want to keep studying, and more importantly, they feel they can do it on their own after the last two weeks of training. How amazing is that? What a difference God made in these two weeks that many of the Christian leaders in this area get a hunger to study God's word and apply it to their lives.

Well that is just a sample of the past two weeks. Click on the link above or go to my website to listen to how the rest of the week has gone. And please let me know if you like the audio updates or prefer to read them.

Thank you so much for your prayers, we are in great health, though very tired. Also, I asked you to pray for effective communication across cultural and language barriers, well, this past seminar seemed much better, even though we were working with less educated leaders. So thank you for praying.

Please continue to pray for myself and Mitch as we are teaching here:

  • First, please take some time and ask the Lord how you should pray and pray accordingly
  • Please pray that we can effectively communicate God's truths across the cultural and language barriers. The
  • We are crying out for God's anointing as we minister and teach. Please pray that God moves powerfully during times of ministry and that lives are transformed.
  • Please pray for the pastors and leaders who will be attending our seminars. That their hearts would be open and that they would be hungry to learn and be changed. Pray for their minds to be quick to grasp the concepts we are teaching as well.
  • Please pray for continued good health and safety as we travel throughout Cambodia
  • Please pray for our team; that we walk in humility, unity, and God's strength, not our own
  • Please also pray for guidance and doors to open for the extra month I will be spending here. I have yet to set up anything for that time and there are only a few weeks left to get things set up.
  • Click here to download a summary from "Operation World" about Cambodia and how to pray for the people
  • Please continue to pray for my financial situation, that the Lord would raise up monthly financial partners. Again, by extending my stay I will not have the money to continue on in the fall without increased support.

Thank you again for all your support. If you receive anything specific while praying please don't hesitate to via email. I am always greatly encouraged to hear from those who are praying.

Thank you,

If you have any questions or would like to contribute financially you can email me, contact me through my website at www.ToMakeHimKnown.com or contact my parents, Jim & Annette Lunn, who will be handling all stateside concerns while I am away.
